Our tips for your call and what to do in an emergency

  • Give us your name and telephone number
  • Give us your insurance number
  • What? The illness or type of accident that is involved
  • Where? Information on the location, e.g. hotel or hospital, including room number
  • Who? Local contact, e.g. treating doctor or police office
  • Do not sign anything without consulting us, e.g. declarations that you will assume certain costs
  • Insist on being issued with documentary proof and medical reports, and preferably invoices/receipts
